This week is like the second week of the new semester and I felt breathless with the amount of assignments to do and the due dates are like so near to each other. Another one week plus I would have two assignments due. Sounds nothing perhaps because it¡¯s just two. But just that little two might just kill me off at the beginning of the semester. Arh~ I just hate doing assignments and the due dates bugging on me. But of course, I also know that when we join the workforce, then we will start to appreciate our good old days with assignments. Ironic. I do have a working friend who happily said, oh no~ I love what it is now. Then his other colleagues asked him WHY? He said, cos he doesn¡¯t have to do OT and when clock strikes 5pm in the evening, he would just leave everything in the office and happy hour since. And so he said, if you are a student, after class, no doubt you can have happy hour but yet you have to worry about the assignments. Do you agree with him?

               I have been away from home for almost six months. Throughout these six months, many things had happen. There are good ones and there are bad ones too. One of my closest girlfriends, Melanie, wrote me an email. In the email, she said ¡°Friends are really important¡­distance help you realize that¡±. Talking about friends, I have many types of friends. There are friends whom I will talk almost day and night with her, there are friends whom I will talk endlessly with them when I only see them and yet not in msn or rather on phone. Just strange. And there are friends whom they will not call me for ages and suddenly a ring, we will just talk as though we have just spoken to each other just last week. And there are even friends whom I don¡¯t keep in touch and yet deep down in our hearts, we know we will be there for each other. There are many definitions of friendships. It all lies on how you look at it.

               Being abroad actually helps you realizes who are your true friends not only those who are far apart from you, and also those who are here with you. Ask people who are studying in overseas right now, I wouldn¡¯t make sweeping statements that ALL will say, but I would say MOST will say that, friends started to reveal their true self then.

               Needless to say, I do and had experienced this kinda thinggie. It has been settled and that is the end and final decision has been made. If you ask me, if we can turn back the time, how will I deal with this sort of things. I think I will just do the same thing all over again. There are quite a number of people say that I am pretty much a predictable person, and I agree at times, heehehehe, but sometimes the way I act may not be predictable at all. It was just last year and¡­with the situation right now¡­.I have no idea and couldn¡¯t be bothered with it anymore.

               Anyway, to me, it is an end and that¡¯s a fact. I am not sure are my actions affecting other people but that is my decision.

               This may be a very vague entry to some people but I can assure you that it is not at all to some people.
